Mayor Emilou “Miloy” Nuรฑez has expressed her 100% support for the upcoming Provincial Meet, with Cateel set to serve as one of the host municipalities for this yearโs sporting event.
DepEd Cateel 2 Public Schools District Supervisor Melvin B. Rodilla, together with Karen C. Bioco, Head Teacher I of San Isidro Elementary School, paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Nuรฑez to discuss preparations for Cateelโs hosting of the Provincial Meet.
Also present during the meeting were Executive Assistant Michael V. Rosalia and Tourism Officer and Sports Coordinator Mark Anthony M. De Leon.
The meeting focused on key preparations for the event, including the Provincial Meet schedule and opening date, support for participating athletes, and the list of sporting events to be conducted in Cateel.
Mayor Nuรฑez assured the DepEd representatives of the Municipal Governments full support for the successful conduct of the games, emphasizing the importance of providing a welcoming and well-prepared venue for athletes, coaches, officials, and participating delegations.
The collaboration between the Local Government Unit of Cateel and DepEd underscores the municipalitys commitment to promoting sports development, supporting young athletes, and ensuring the successful hosting of the Provincial Meet.
With the combined efforts of the LGU, DepEd, and other stakeholders, Cateel is gearing up to welcome athletes and delegates and showcase the municipalitys hospitality and support for sports excellence.
