The 78 beneficiaries of the Tulong Pangkabuhayan Program of the Local Government Unit of Cateel graduated last October 27, 2022. The month-long training culminated by the distribution of Training and National Certificates and Starter Toolkits to all the beneficiaries. Sewing machines were given to dressmaking graduates while oils and essences were distributed to massage therapy graduates.
This program was made possible through the initiative of our Municipal Mayor, Emilou C. Nuńez, in coordination with the Provincial Government Office, headed by Governor Corazon T. Nuńez-Malanyaon, TESDA, DOLE, and the Office of Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa.
In her speech, Mayor Nuńez emphasized the importance of providing livelihood opportunities to the people in order for them to be more self-sufficient. She also thanked the beneficiaries for enduring and finishing the month-long training program. “I hope and pray that this training will open doors of opportunities for you,” said Mayor Nuńez as she ended her message for the graduates.
The Office of Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa through its representative, Miss Ethel Abejero-Commendador, informed the graduates, that more livelihood training programs will be funded by the aforesaid office. This is to further hone and improve the skills of the graduates and provide more opportunities for other Cateeleńos to benefit from the livelihood program.
