The Municipal Agriculture and Fisheries Council (MAFC) convened on August 12, 2026, at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall for the presentation of the Municipal Agriculture and Fisheries Development Plan (MAFDP).
The meeting was organized by the Municipal Agriculture Office, headed by Municipal Agriculturist Ildefonsa Reyes, as part of the municipalityโs continuing efforts to strengthen planning and development initiatives for the local agriculture and fisheries sectors.
The meeting was presided over by MAFC President Chorna Cabaรฑog, who led the council members and stakeholders in the discussion and presentation of the MAFDP.
The activity was also graced by Sangguniang Bayan Chairperson on Agriculture, Hon. Daniel Anthony Dacuycuy, who joined the council in discussing matters concerning the development and improvement of the municipalityโs agriculture and fisheries programs.
The presentation of the MAFDP provided an avenue for the council and concerned stakeholders to discuss proposed programs, projects, and interventions aimed at addressing the needs of local farmers and fisherfolk and supporting sustainable agricultural and fisheries development in the municipality.
The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration among local government officials, agricultural stakeholders, farmers, and fisherfolk in formulating development plans that are responsive to the needs and priorities of the community.
